2015 began with local Bay Area trips and a spectacular April lunar eclipse that required getting up at 3 a.m. to capture. In May, my son Geoff, brother-in-law, Greg, nephews Alex and Mike, and I spent a week in Moab at Arches and Canyonlands national parks. I was a patient advocate on a penal at the American Urological Association convention in New Orleans the following week, resulting in iPhone images of the Crescent City. Susan and I traveled from Illinois back to Massachusetts in July, and spent a night in a room of the 35th floor of the Niagara Falls (Ont) Hilton overlooking the eponymous falls. Heading west in October, we (once again) visited Yellowstone NP. An October trip to Pinecrest in the Sierras resulted in some terrific images of the Milky Way, which is vertical in the sky at that time of year.
