With only a couple of exceptions, travel outside the US was inevitably part of a business trip. In 1973, Susan and I spent six weeks in Europe, traveling in France, Germany, Switzerland, and Austria on a Eurailpass. We returned agin in 1975 (Italy), 1978 (UK), and 1984 (France, Italy, Switzerland). In 1998 my son Geoff, my daughter Elisabeth, her friend Andrea, and I toured Germany Switzerland, Britain, and Italy.
I was in China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, and Thailand several times during the 1990s on business. Not much time for photography, though.
