Rockport, Massachusetts
Motif #1

Perched at the top of Cape Ann some 40 miles north of Boston, Rockport has long been a tourist attraction. Its snug harbor, highlighted by a red fishing (or lobster) shack with lobster floats nailed to its wall, may be the most photographed view in Massachusetts—so much so that it has even acquired its own name: Motif #1.

I assigned myself the photographic task of trying to capture different, more original views of the harbor and the shack. You can judge for yourself whether or not I was successful.
