New England Autumn

There’s a reason people flock to New England in autumn. The weather is great and the fall colors are renowned. During the last week of September, I journeyed to north central New Hampshire and then drove south along the Connecticut River to central Massachusetts. It was still early in the “leaf peeping” season, so the reds and oranges were on display only in the northern part of New Hampshire, with yellows still predominating in the south.
