During 2002 and early 2003, Susan and I lived on Harcourt Street in downtown Boston. This presented ample opportunity for photography in the Boston metro region—with a special emphasis on the area around Concord during the fall of 2002. We drove home to California via the Grand Canyon—our first of several visits in 2008, 2013, and 2016. We visited Santa Fe and Taos in November 2002 and again in July 2003.
In early 2003 we enjoyed a winter in Boston. In June my son Geoff and I drove the Alaska Highway. Then in July, Susan and I visited Alaska, although our trip to Denali was washed out by torrential rains, we visited Keni Fords National Park and saw a glacier up close.
