This was the year Susan and I “wintered over” at the house in Massachusetts. We managed to pick one of the coldest winters on record… Happily, it eventually warmed up and I was able to photograph around the Massachusetts South Coast and Cape Cod region. In September, we drove east via “the northern route” passing through Theodore Roosevelt National Park in North Dakota and northern Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Michigan before dropping south. Of the trip back west we again visited Santa Fe and surrounding area. It was also the year where I spent two beautiful autumn days touring the colors of Vermont and New Hampshire.
