A highlight of 2006 was the DeWitt Family Reunion at Pacific Grove, CA and photography at my favorite spot on the Pacific coast: Pt. Lobos State Reserve. We then headed north to the Washington coast. On a separate mid-summer trip, I was able to spend a day photographing at the Paradise area of Mt. Rainier National Park. Coming home, I passed the western side of still-smoldering Mt. St. Helens. Then south past Mt. Shasta and a quick visit to Burney Falls, just outside Burney, CA. Of course we spent our usual months at our summer home on the Massachusetts South Coast. We drove home on US40 (old Route 66), visiting Painted Dessert National Park, as well as Sedona, AZ.
