As we often do, we visited Monterey and Pacific Grove in February to celebrate Susan’s birthday. Then, in early spring we headed east to Massachusetts and spent a memorable day and night in Ashville, NC at the Biltmore Estate. In late June, we headed west via Colorado Springs and then to the the DeWitt family reunion over the 4th of July at the Tamaya Resort in New Mexico, On the way west, we spent a day at the Grand Canyon with Elisabeth and Jacob. In late August we again headed east, taking the northern route through North Cascades NP in Washington and spent the fall in New England.
