After missing last year due to the pandemic, it was good to be back at our summer home on Hamilton Beach, Wareham, Massachusetts. We arrived in early June just before the partial solar eclipse early morning, June 10th. The full moon—the Strawberry Moon—rose on June 23rd, partially blocked by wispy clouds that turned strawberry color as the sun set. Tropical storm Elsa passed over the South Coast on July 9th. Finally, an image of the Milky Way over Buzzards Bay.
The beaches, salt marshes and the Wareham River also present plenty of additional photographic opportunities—especially early morning and evening.
