The pandemic restricted our usual travel plans to head to New England and, among other things, enjoy the fall colors. As it turns out, there’s plenty of autumnal color in the upper Midwest, especially here in Wisconsin.
In addition to enjoying and photographing fall colors right here in Madison, we took three short day trips. One was down to Naperville, IL to visit relatives. Another was to “Holy Hill” about 30 miles northwest of Milwaukee. Finally, a quick trip to the Driftless Region about 25 miles west of Madison to photograph Hyde’s Mill.
