This was the appropriately spring-like sunrise view outside my office window on Easter Monday, April 21, 2014.
The grass, which is still green at this time of year, is the open space behind our house. I planted the lavender last year in an abandoned wooden planter located there. It seems to thrive there. The oaks are at the Heather Farm Garden Center, just east of the open space.
