Lest we Right- and Left-Coasters think of the Midwest as strictly flyover country, some parts of it are booming. Even in the depths of winter. There are construction cranes all over Madison, Wisconsin. Mostly building new condos.
I made these shots shortly after dawn one morning in March 2014 from my hotel room in downtown Madison, Wisconsin. It snowed later that day.
