Grand Canyon—July 2016
The shadowy "V" in the sky at right is relatively rare "anti-crepuscular rays" formed by atmospheric water droplets that scatter the light of the setting sun.

Susan and I rendezvoused with our son Geoff and his family at the Grand Canyon in mid-July at the height of the tourist season. Our major accomplishment was finding a parking place inside the park. Nevertheless, I was able to grab some images, including a nice sunset trip out to Hopi Point—one of my favorite places.
